I so wish I could have been there. I've done 13 Glastos. The Verve are one of my all time favourite bands of all time.
Richard Ashcroft and Nick McCabe are musical geniuses. Seeing them back together on stage like this is great.
The only reason why this track never reached number one in the UK was due to the sample used from Andrew Oldham's recording of The Rolling Stones' "The Last Time".
They were robbed. But arguably, so was he.
I'll try and find that track and reply to this post with it. ;)
I can't tell you how much this track means to me. (Along with so much of Verve's stuff from the beginning).
